Franklin Graham is coming to the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte to saturate North Carolina with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Invite friends to attend the BIG FREE event on Saturday, October 12th, at 4:00 p.m. There will be live music by Jeremy Camp, prayer, and a special message from Franklin Graham.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
SHOE BOX PACKING PARTY
Wednesday, October 30th
Covenant will have a packing party for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes on Wednesday, October 30th, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Prior to then, we will collect school supplies, appropriate toiletries, and fun items for boys and girls ages 2 to 14. Please place donated items in the designated area in the Fellowship Hall. This packing party will take the place of youth and children activities and the Adult Prayer & Bible Study on that night. Plan to join us for this unique Glocal missions opportunity.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Thursday, October 31st
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
A Free, Safe and Unique way to
“trick-or-treat” by going “trunk-to-trunk”
in a Fun and Family Friendly Atmosphere!
Vehicles are parked together, decorated, and are full of candy and
goodies. Children can walk from trunk to trunk to look at the
decorations and receive candy and other treats. This provides a
controlled and safe family environment for trick or treaters of all ages!
VIRGINIA CREEPER TRAIL
Saturday, November 2nd
The Creeper is a “Rails to Trails” trail in Damascus, Virginia and is a very easy and enjoyable ride for anyone. We will leave from the church parking lot at 6:00 a.m. Please arrive at 5:45 a.m. to load up the bus/van. We will provide breakfast, but you will need snacks for the trail. Located on the trail is a church that provides hotdogs and hot chocolate for a donation. At the bottom of the trail, there is a cute little coffee shop that sells treats and hot chocolate. We will eat dinner at Cracker Barrel (dutch treat) on the way home. We expect to return between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. When you sign up at the Family Ministry Connection Center, please specify if you will be bringing your own bike or renting one. The prices for kids/adults who bring their bikes will be $15/$20. Prices for kids/adults who rent a bike will be $20/$25.

SHOE BOX COLLECTION DAY
IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH.
Brochures and boxes are available at the Glocal Missions Center. The boxes are unassembled with instructions. For $30.00, someone will shop and pack a box for you. Envelopes are also available at the Glocal Missions Center for your donations. We will have a special collection day for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes on Sunday, November 10th. We ask that you bring your filled shoe boxes to the Worship Center that day and keep them with you. During the service, our children and youth will collect them and place them at the altar.
VETERANS RECOGNITION AND LUNCHEON
Sunday, November 10th
A luncheon for our honored Veterans and their spouses, widows and widowers will be held in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the Worship Service on Sunday, November 10th. Please sign up at the Connection Center by Sunday, November 3rd, to confirm your reservation.
SENIOR ADULT LUNCHEON
Tuesday, November 12th @ 11:45 a.m.
Our special guest for the luncheon will be Fire Marshall Russell Rogers with the Lancaster County Fire Rescue. Please sign up at the Connection Center by Sunday, November 3rd. The cost of the meal ($5) will be due as you arrive at the luncheon.
